EQUIPMENT REPAIR
In addition to fabrication work, Refax,
Inc. also has many years of experience in equipment repair and machining. Equipment repair
includes complete disassembly, cleaning & degreasing of all parts, inspection of parts
for excessive wear or damage, and the replacement of all worn parts prior to re-assembly.
Strip reports, when required, are made available to customers with recommendations of
repairs. Equipment repair work includes items such as batch anneal coil cars, bucket
wheels, transfer truck assemblies, payloader buckets, crane drums, slab tongs and other
lifting devices.

MACHINING
To complement our fabrication and equipment repair work,
our machining area is utilized to manufacture parts needed in completing fabrications and
assemblies. This includes new parts such as pins, bushings, axles, and machined flanges.
In addition to new parts for equipment repair, the machine shop can also modify existing
parts to suit conditions. This includes modifying side guides, shafts, piston rods,
conveyors, and transfer car parts. Other new parts include items such as boom extensions,
bale arms, wheel hubs, and large pins and nuts. |
