Fabrication of Furnace Cone for Steel Producing

When completed, this cone is 180,000 lbs made from 2-1/8” thick SA516
Grade 70 plate and approximately 27’ in diameter by 12’ high. The
fabrication process requires heavy plate burning and forming and X-Ray
quality welding. Refax, Inc. routinely repairs and fabricates these cones
